I sit alone, All Day on the street
The Passers-by give not a glance
while I am wondering if I will eat
Their wallets bulge from thier pants
A simple donation is all it would take
Just a little something to help me
With it I'll buy a business suit
So I can be taken seriously
A Little bit is all it would take
to be my hero for today
I'll soon schedule a job interview
And then my debts I'll repay
But for today, I sit on the streets
And feel like I'm wasting my time
My life continues to lay in ruin
because you would not drop a dime.
